Telling the story of the Nativity has taken root in many cultures. Using traditional materials and techniques, artisans fashion crèches for both viewing and playing.

This year, Crossroads Trade brings you nativities from Russia, Armenia, Bethlehem, Kyrgyztan, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Colombia and Peru. In most cases, they are fashioned in home workshops. In El Salvador, they are made by a women's cooperative.
