A man seized by an eagle pleas with the shamans below. A limited-edition (16/50) 1994 print from the Holman Eskimo Cooperative in Arctic Canada. Signed "Mabel Nigiyok/Lucy Nigiyok/Louise Nigiyok." Sources cite Mabel (b. 1938) as the artist and Mabel and Lucy (b. 1963) as the printers but are silent on Louise. Louise and Mabel collaborated on a weaving for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, and we speculate that Lucy and Louise are sister. Print measures 30"wx44"h, and is shrinkwrapped onto foam core.
